Christmas is a time to spend moments with loved ones, and to make beautiful memories. Many sit around the fireplace while drinking hot chocolate, watch christmas movies, but many also like to go out and adventure the beauty of the snowy nature.
Shay Smith, a senior at Port Huron High School, attended the Wild Lights with her boyfriend, Ryan on a cold December evening. This is the first time she has ever witnessed the lights in person, and she had the opportunity to spend the experience with her beloved flame. When she first saw the lights she was hesitant about the layout. But as Smith began to explore the dreamland she became more mesmerized with the beauty the lights held. The color of the lights were not ordinary, they were colors you wouldn't expect to see in Christmas lights. At first, the expectations weren’t exactly met, but she saw past that and enjoyed the time she had making memories. Smith’s favorite part was seeing all of the animals, although she was disappointed that the penguins were put away, but that did not stop her from taking funny photos with her boyfriend and having fun. She managed to battle the blistering cold by sheltering with five warm jackets. Smith does recommend others to go, to have the experience she did. Go with friends, family or a significant other, make memories and have the time of your life. 1.Shay Smith and her Christmas is a time to spend moments with loved ones, and to make beautiful memories.
